Our Company Name
We are called BaliBay Ltd. Our Company name is quite unique and it gives a clear impression of our vision and mission.
Why We are Called BaliBay
Right from the onset we wanted to stand out. Yes, we must raise our head from the teeming crowd out there. Everyone who is an entrepreneur wants to set up his own Company out there. Thus, there are actually no shortage of Companies started by entrepreneurs. To the average customer we and our competitors look exactly the same. So, what can make the difference? It is the name. Hence, we went for BaliBay Ltd, a name that took us almost six months of search before we got approved by the corporate registry in Nigeria.
Time of Establishment
We actually started business long before we applied for registration. We needed to be sure of what we were doing and where we were going. Our formal approval and registration as a corporate entity came in 2023
What we do as a Company
Our Company is an export and Import Company. As exporters we have an approved export license granted us by the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC). We export raw and semi processed Nigerian Agricultural products and foodstuffs.
Our import arm deals with the importation and distribution of Mobile Phones and accessories in addition to other technical gadgets as well as general consumer products. We import from China, UK, USA and other parts of the World.
We are also general contractors.
Who are Our Customers
We presently partner with various manufacturing outfits in different parts of the world as distributors of their products in Nigeria. These Companies are in China, UK and USA. In Nigeria, we have many distributors and marketers of our products spread in all states of the Country.
Our export products are pushed to many countries including the UAE, Spain, UK, USA, Japan, Belgium, Portugal and several other EU Countries. Nigerians and Africans in these Countries patronize our Nigerian foodstuffs while many processing and finished product manufacturers use our raw Agricultural products.
The Original and Present Size of Our Company
Our Company is small, judging by its number of employees and revenue. We have less than ten full-time workers. However, we are looking forward to growing the Company in the years ahead.
What we Intend to Achieve with Our Brand
We intend to make the BaliBay brand a household name in the very near future. This we will achieve by edging up quality products in both our export and import arms. We know this is achievable.
